Job Summary:

As the Lead Control Systems Analyst, you will support the Company's Gas Control and SCADA and process control systems. You will be responsible for leading the Gas OT infrastructure ecosystem regarding System Administration, Security, and Network infrastructure administration, and Cyber Security. Responsible for developing, documenting, and implementing policies and standards.

Oversee the Company's cyber security risks and exposures, investigate, and resolve security incidents, and recommend enhancements to improve security. Analyst is responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and enhancing documentation used to perform or support compliance with requirements, evaluating and interpreting current and proposed new industry cyber security requirements, and supporting CenterPoint Energy's interests in development of new industry cyber security standards.

Essential Functions:



  • Manage and monitor computer systems and appliances that support Gas Control and SCADA and process control systems.
  • Lead vulnerability assessments of the Gas OT infrastructure.
  • Works fluently without supervision and lead teams to support equipment for Gas OT Network.
  • Oversees Incident Response investigation in the event of a physical or cyber security event.
  • Lead security awareness training for department employees.
  • Prepares documents (policies, process, procedures, etc.) to maintain compliance with guidelines, best practices, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with different departments to implement and operationalize functions to ensure compliance.
  • Advises organization on evidence (logs, records, and documentation) to ensure CenterPoint Energy meets compliance requirements.
  • Provide support to inspections, audits, spot-checks, self-certifications, and data requests.
  • Develop consistent and streamlined operational process and procedures.
  • Adhere to Change Management process.
  • Develop infrastructure solutions for Gas OT network
  • Work with vendors to resolve technical issues or review new technologies.
  • Coordinate with CNP support teams and vendors on installations of hardware and software related technologies.
  • Responsible for project planning, cost analysis and product evaluation from different vendors to meet CNP specifications.
  • Conducts network troubleshooting using network tool such as sniffers and probes.
  • Knowledge of various operating systems and virtualization platforms, storage solutions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain server and workstation hardware, operating systems, storage hardware, and relate networking equipment and infrastructure.
  • Effectively communicate with management and stakeholders.
  • Recognized as the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Serves as the project leader on selected large-scale enterprise and Gas OT networking projects.



Educational Experience:

Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

Requires a minimum of 10 years' experience-in some combination of the following fields: Audit and Compliance Management, Cyber Security, Information Technology/ Operational Technology, System Administration, Network Security administration.

Preferred Experience, Education and Skills:

Extensive experience in Cyber Security or compliance regulations (eight years at minimum)

* A professional training certificates in cyber security or network security.
