Manager, Change & Transformation

Are you passionate about leading transformational change at scale? As the Manager, Change & Transformation, you will play a critical role in shaping how our organization navigates and implements change. This role partners closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive successful adoption of high-impact, enterprise-wide initiatives.

You will provide strategic guidance, hands-on consulting, and execution support to ensure that major transformations deliver sustained business value. THE ROLE

The Manager, Change & Transformation will serve as a trusted change partner to business leaders, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams, embedding change management strategies, driving adoption, and enabling transformation capabilities across the organization.

This role requires a practical, execution-focused mindset combined with a deep understanding of change management methodologies and business transformation strategies. You will provide leadership coaching, design and implement change strategies, and equip teams to lead change effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Large-Scale Change & Transformation Execution

  • Serve as a change consultant to business leaders on high-impact, enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end change strategies to ensure adoption, engagement, and sustainability.
  • Apply structured change management methodologies while adapting approaches to fit business needs.
  • Identify and proactively address risks, resistance, and barriers to adoption, developing targeted mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure alignment between business priorities, cultural shifts, and transformation goals.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership

  • Partner with senior leaders to shape change narratives, communication strategies, and leadership messaging.
  • Build relationships across the organization to gain alignment and drive accountability for change outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and advisory support to leaders and teams navigating transformation.
  • Design and facilitate change leadership workshops and strategy sessions to ensure alignment and execution.

Change Enablement & Capability Building

  • Leverage, maintain, and evolve General Mills change management frameworks, toolkits, and playbooks.
  • Equip leaders with the tools and skills needed to lead and sustain change.
  • Drive best practices for measuring and tracking adoption, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to a culture of change agility by embedding transformation capabilities across teams.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in change management and transformation, incorporating best practices.
  • Leverage technology, analytics, and digital adoption tools to enhance change execution.
  • Continuously refine and evolve the company's approach to large-scale change, ensuring it remains adaptive and impactful.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • 6-10 years of experience in change management, transformation consulting, or large-scale business change initiatives.
  • Experience working on high-impact, enterprise-wide transformations.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior leaders.
  • Expertise in change management frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategies.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, execute at pace, and drive results in fast-changing environments.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and project execution skills.

Preferred:

  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, CCMP) or equivalent experience.
  • Background in consulting, corporate transformation, or organizational change roles.
  • Experience using change analytics, digital adoption platforms, and data-driven insights.

Salary Range



The salary range for this position is $106800.00 - $160300.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. Beyond base salary, General Mills offers a competitive Total Rewards package focusing on your overall well-being.
