WORK SHIFT DAY (United States of America)SUMMARY OF DUTIES As the OT/IoT administer you areresponsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of Merit's industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology infrastructure. Including but not limited to networking, servers, hardware, firmware, software and cybersecurity. Ensuring smooth operation of critical processes while prioritizing cybersecurity measures and compliance with industry standards;this role involves installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and updating OT systems. Often working closely with operations teams to identify and resolve issues affecting production efficiency.Leveraging superior interpersonal skills to strengthen relationships with multiple departments and global sites. Clearly document flows and system dependencies of Merit's OT/IoT environment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in MIS\engineering field 10 years of industry experience Industry certifications (IoT Fundamentals, PLC, CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, etc) Experience with ICS architectures 5 years' experience with SCADA 5 years' experience with PLCs Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation tasks Experience setting new policies and procedures and implementing them Understanding of manufacturing process controls Troubleshooting and root cause analysis Ability to travel internationally Organizational skills Must be available to work some weekends or after hours as needed Excellent communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Solid understanding of manufacturing process controls Industry certifications (IoT Fundamentals, PLC, CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, etc) COMPETENCIES
