- Eugene, OR
- Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- All PPE (including boots and uniform) provided!
- $21 per hour; quarterly bonus opportunity

As Production Operator II, you will be responsible for safely handling and filling gas products into high pressure and liquid industrial gas cylinders in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and meeting the standard operating procedures of Airgas.

In particular, you will:

  • Perform various duties in the plant to include forklift operation, material handling and sorting, inspecting, and cylinder maintenance work.
  • Inspect cylinders prior to filling, and conduct a variety of safety checks including odor tests and checking caps and valves. Analyze products for purity and correct mixtures.
  • Prepare high pressure cylinders and cryogenic vessels for filling; attach to manifold, evacuate cylinders to eliminate contaminants, and fill by pressure and weight per regulations and standards.
  • Assist with loading and unloading cylinders from pallets and tractor trailers, operating forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Must be able to operate forklift and maintain appropriate certifications.
  • One or more years experience in a manufacturing operation
  • Filling or loading experience in gas, welding, chemical, or safety industry (preferred).
  • Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.
