Systems Programmer 4

Summary

Analyzes, acquires, installs, modifies, and supports operating systems, Internet/intranet-related core services and tools, databases, and other core utilities. Conducts systems programming, and system support activities, such as supporting new languages and enhancements, system maintenance, quality assurance, and performance enhancement routines. Develops systems software tools including automated system build solutions, operating systems, networks, utilities, databases, Internet-related and cyber security-related tools. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design.

Education

Position typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years' related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. At this level post graduate course work may be expected.
