As one of the oldest medical schools in the country, the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM) has a reputation for training best-in-class health care professionals and developing cutting-edge procedures and research that improves the health and clinical care of patients. In partnership with the UC Health academic healthcare system and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, College of Medicine's faculty are transforming the world of medicine every day. The College of Medicine, Department of Molecular & Cellular Biosciences, Luo lab is hiring for a Post Doc Fellow position. The Luo lab studies neuronal survival and repair in CNS diseases with a focus on neuroinflammation and cell-cell crosstalk. We utilize genetic models and pharmacological methods to study the role of key signaling pathways regulating neuroinflammation and neuronal survival and function. This Post Doc Fellow will assist the Principal Investigator in a given department or field. The incumbent will conduct research and/or analyze research data and ensure that all experiments are appropriately conducted following the policies and procedures of the University of Cincinnati. Positions are temporary appointments as a research trainee. Essential Functions
Required Education
Doctoral Degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or a closely related field, or the recognized terminal degree. Required Experience
