The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking a Sr. HRIS Administrator to support our technology and HR team in the Pacific Northwest. This role will deliver product enhancements and new features that align with our 2025 objectives. Successful candidates will have extensive experience in Workday Core HCM, in addition to Workday Studio integrations. Knowledge of Absence, Advanced Compensation, Benefits and/or Performance modules it a plus!

This position is responsible for the on-going operations of Workday Core HCM, and will focus heavily on business process configuration and integrations. This role collaborates with HR, Technology, and other business stakeholders to design, configure, test, implement, and maintain enhancements to our Workday product.

In this role, your day-to-day will consist of:

  • Designing & building Workday solutions that are sustainable and scalable, and that create operational efficiencies through automation.
  • Leading configuration activities for cyclical HR processes, deployment of new modules, improvements, and expanded offerings within Workday HCM platform while ensuring data integrity.
  • Supporting the People Plan Initiatives through configuration, testing and implementation of enhanced system capabilities.
  • Providing Tier 2 & 3 technical support for Workday HCM.
  • Optimally improving Workday while also ensuring data integrity, security, and operational precision
  • Developing testing plans for new features, including management of Workday Feature Releases.
  • Providing support for compliance reporting (EEO, AAP, VETS-4212)

What we'd like to see from you:

  • 4+ years of Workday HCM configuration experience required, Workday Pro Certification Preferred.
  • Advanced Comp experience is a plus.
  • 3+ years of Workday Report Writing experience (Composite, Matrix, Transposed, nBox, etc.)
  • Experience supporting variety of integrations with Workday (Inbound/Outbound EIBs, PECI, Studio)
  • 6+ years of HRIS/LMS/ATS expericen preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Working knowledge of compliance reporting, including EEO, VETS, AAP preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects.
  • Curious problem solver

The pay range for this position is $89,010 - $151,300 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
