Job Description: Position Summary: The Loan Servicing Representative - Consumer Loan Servicing is responsible for post loan closing duties for consumer loans. The incumbent will complete loan maintenance, loan adjustments, report monitoring, insurance monitoring, payment processing, credit reporting, lien perfection, payoffs, lien releases, document archival and retrieval. The Loan Servicing Representative Consumer Loan Servicing will provide exceptional service to members and employees, via telephone and email. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for correspondence and communication with members and employees over the telephone and email regarding loan servicing related requests.
- Responsible for processing internal and external requests for reversal of loan fees, adjustment of payments, loan payoffs, title, document retrieval and collateral releases.
- Performs monitoring of loans for required collateral perfection process.
- Responsible for ensuring compliant reporting to Credit Reporting Agencies.
- Responsible for responding to Credit Report Disputes via e-Oscar, phone, e-mail or mail.
- Processing payments for various insurance, third party collections agencies and bankruptcies.Assist in monitoring various loan reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with servicing Everwise lending policy.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Transaction Reconciliation, highly accurate data entry skills and detail orientated in research.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize the workload and work in a face pace work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous work experience in payment processing, customer service or related field required.
- Previous financial institution or consumer lending experience preferred.
- Knowledge of lending regulations preferred.
