Pay information



  • Pay Level: 022
  • FLSA Category: Exempt - Salaried
  • Individual pay will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, location, internal equity, and other relevant factors.

A day in the life

The Facility Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise-wide space plan, managing projects related to employee workspaces and related facility spaces at all locations and maintaining the department's web content management system, containing current drawings, building and floor plans, project documentation, and related policies/procedures.

Your responsibilities will include



  • Prepares space for new employees. Ensures office space meets the needs of each department and is available, comfortable and safe per local, state and federal building codes. Coordinates department and employee moves.
  • Designs workspace changes to meet business needs, develops cost estimates for projects and partners with internal and external stakeholders to implement within budgetary constraints. Aids in design and implementation of long-term space planning.
  • Updates drawings of building and grounds, evacuation maps, floor plans and seating charts using a computer aided design software. Maintains accurate and up to date documentation on company SharePoint site.
  • Updates policies and procedures and keeps compliance with record retention policies.
  • Verifies statements of work for accuracy and compliance per company policies.
  • Manages work orders and vendor service requests. Approves vendor invoices and coordinates with department staff to ensure work is completed.
  • Assists with audit requests and is responsible for providing all audit information.
  • Understands the operation of fire alarm and building control systems. Has a basic understanding of all building systems. Can respond to emergency situations, as necessary.
  • Serves as part of on-call rotation.



What you need to succeed



  • A Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Construction, Facilities Management or related field.
  • 3 years of facilities management, interior/space planning or reconfiguration, interior design, project management or related experience is required.
  • Be a problem solver with the ability to research, analyze and define methods, practices, and procedures to resolve issues.
  • Ability to inspire staff, co-workers and organization to strive for continues development and learning.
  • Clearly communicate and support employees in a variety of situations, while also being flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to identify points of agreement or disagreement and consider the needs and viewpoints of appropriate parties.
  • Develops an overall project plan, manages objectives and milestones and keeps the project on track.
  • Brings a creative mindset and a go-get-em' attitude to find ways to improve upon processes and projects.
  • A strong ability to prioritize and organize work with varying timelines for projects and daily work.



Equivalent combination of education, experience or training determined to be acceptable by Human Resources may be substituted, unless regulated by contract or program standards
