Dean of Students - Campus Activities Programming Board Job Description
Summary As part of this commitment, the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) is seeking a collaborative, student-centered professional to fill the role of Coordinator for Campus Activities and serve as the co-advisor for programs and services associated with the Campus Activities Programming Board (CAPB). Programs and services include, but are not limited to, daytime programming, traditions, late night programming, movie series, speakers, and concerts. This position is responsible for hiring, training, and jointly supervising approximately 40 student employees. Additionally, this position will serve as a resource to student leaders in the Center for Student Involvement in the development of event planning, risk management, and other skills necessary to support student engagement, sense of belonging, and affiliation with MU. This full-time professional staff position will report directly to the Associate Director of Student Engagement, Leadership & Service. Shift
8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday (40 hours per week) This position will require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside the normal schedule. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
