Who we are looking for:

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for supporting impactful research? We are seeking a dynamic Operations Administrator to join our team within the Division of Clinical Research and Analytics, supporting the Center for Research and Analytics (CENTRA) department. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinical research activities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the complete administration of virtual and in-person meetings for both internal and external meetings

  • Develop and maintain Operations standard operating procedures (SOPs) coordinating the development and maintenance of SOPs, bi-annual reviews of SOPs, and updating tracking information

  • Develop and maintain financial activities including invoicing, payment processing, payment tracking, A/R reporting, and overall workflows

  • Prepare and maintain financial reports (e.g., Oracle expense reports, site payment reports, etc.) and distribute to the ASCO Finance department as needed

  • Support the development of and maintain study website and resources by updating content and providing private website user access

  • Provide support for study-related activities and other related projects to Division of Clinical Research and Analytics as directed

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent years of experience

  • 3 - 4 years of administrative and financial experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Prior experience working in healthcare or nonprofit administration, management, business administration, or public health

Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills, including written, with ability to clearly convey and receive information

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task

  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in teams

  • Proactive with ability to take initiative to learn new skills, including learning new technology

ADA/Physical Requirements

Must lift up to 15 lbs

Extended periods seated or standing at a desk

High use of computer and other office technology equipment

Travel

1-5 days/yr
