Georgia-Pacific is currently seeking a Utilities Asset Availability Leader to join our team at the Monticello, MS containerboard mill. This position will support the Utilities Area and directly report to the Utilities Area Leader. Georgia-Pacific Monticello is a fully integrated containerboard mill that employs 450 employees and continues to benefit from extensive capital investment. Monticello, Mississippi, is an hour South of Jackson, MS, and an hour Northwest of Hattiesburg, MS.

What You Will Do

* The AAL develops and executes asset strategies for utilities department and reports to the Utilities Area Leader
* Key member of the operations team that works closely with maintenance for timing of repairs
* Work collaboratively with Operations, OMG and Maintenance to prioritize value-added work
* Plan, schedule and coordinate reliability outages using Gantt Chart (lead planning meetings through to post outage audits)
* Clearly articulate the expectation of asset preservation and investment outages to fix it right the first time
* Drive precision maintenance thru QA/QC process
* Plan and coordinate reliability outages
* Lead pre-planning outage meetings and post shutdown audit
* Building asset strategies and systems including Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM): organizing and managing asset reliability strategies involving appropriate application of condition monitoring and preventative maintenance using an RCM-based approach.
* Equipment troubleshooting.
* Root Cause analysis: finding and resolving organizational issues that lead to premature equipment failure by utilizing strong interview skills and attention to detail.
* Gap analysis and the development of improvement plans.
* Equipment benchmarking.
* Asset performance tracking and reporting
* Development of best practices.
* Provide technical support on both capital and non-capital projects
* Bill of materials development and stores min/max strategies

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Proven capabilities advancing reliability or preventative maintenance results in an industrial environment
* Experience developing asset strategies
* Experience collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data
* Experience applying and leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts

What Will Put You Ahead
* Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering or related technical field
* Experience within a paper/pulp manufacturing operation
* Experience working with rotating equipment
* Outage planning experience
* Experience using Microsoft Project and computer-based maintenance management systems (CMMS)
