Subject Matter Expert Level 2

IMG provides Subject Matter Expertise as a Tier II level technician for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Key job functions include analyzing the root causes of hardware and software issues, supporting junior level technicians, installing desktop IT equipment, and assisting in the development of new processes to gain efficiencies.

Job Duties

Works individually; actively participates on integrated teams and may lead tasks
• Supports more junior-level technicians or specialists
• Troubleshoot desktop IT equipment (monitors, mice, printers, phones, etc.)
• Analyze root causes and resolve issues
• Perform all tasks of lower-level technicians or specialists
• Replace/Install desktop IT equipment and related peripherals (monitors, mice, printers, phones, etc.)
• Install approved software onto workstations.
• Majority of work will take place at DIAC, but the ability to travel within the NCR (MD/DC/VA) is preferred
• Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.
• Coordinate with contract management and Government personnel to ensure the problems have been properly defined and solutions satisfy customer needs

Salary- $28-41/ hour.

Clearance Required:

TS/SCI (Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information) required prior to consideration and CI Poly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Assists more junior level technicians, specialists, and managers in their activitie
• Can perform all tasks of lower-level technicians, specialists, and/or managers
• Works individually; actively participates on integrated teams, and leads multiple tasks, projects or teams. Oversee and monitor performance, and when required, takes steps to resolve issues

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma + 8 years
• Associate's Degree + 6 years
• Bachelor's Degree + 4 years
• Master's Degree + 2 years

Training and Certifications:

• DoD 8570 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order
• Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified within the task order

Drug Testing and Training

• Candidates may be required to take a drug test prior to work and agree to random drug testing throughout your tenure with this customer
• Candidates will be required to attend training sessions and complete all requested training requirements in a timely manner
