Major Position Responsibilities

  • Will undertake, initially, a range of administrative and support tasks for the Engineering department
  • These tasks will provide the opportunity to apply basic Engineering skills in a highly active environment
  • Based on experience and abilities the intern will be assigned tasks of increasing complexity that are appropriate to the level of education and skills
  • As part of the intern position the department will have the opportunity to get to know the candidate and their suitability for potential future position within the company
  • The right candidate should be able to demonstrate the required skills, enthusiasm and interest in the Engineering aspects the large caliber ammunition business together with an aptitude for working with various internal and external customers to achieve assigned tasks


Basic Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled or accepted into a 2-4 year accredited college or university or have graduated in the last 6 months
  • Completed at a minimum their sophomore year in college majoring in Engineering Quality, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical or similar Engineering or technical degree program
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • AutoCAD expierence, automation, design is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse employee population are essential
  • Must demonstrate organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, using discretion and independent judgement
