i-Heath Laboratory Services is a high complexity testing laboratory located in Bloomington, MN. We are a laboratory service line for Infinite Health Collaborative, an organization comprised of independent Physician Clinics throughout the Twin Cities. We are looking for a motivated and quality driven Laboratorian professional who will deliver quality patient care and outcomes in a clinical lab setting. This is a full-time position working Monday through Thursday between the hours of 9:00 am - 5:30 pm and Friday between the hours of 10:00 am - 7:00 pm. This role will also involve working rotating Saturday's every 5 - 6 weeks. Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) is a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions:
- Accessioning and processing of patient samples.
- Perform testing and review results.
- Demonstrate laboratory troubleshooting skills and critical thinking.
- Equipment maintenance & daily QC.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding and experience in CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Assist in supply chain functions and inventory management.
- Establish professional relationships with vendors, clinical staff, clients and key stakeholders.
- Must be able to work well independently and in a team setting.
- Any and all other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician from an accredited school. Medical Laboratory Technician certification from ASCP or AMT.
- Qualified to work in a highly complex laboratory as mandated in the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA)
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in a high complex clinical testing laboratory. Prefer 3 years or more.
- Experience in Chemistry, Immunoassay & Hematology preferred.
