Pay: $20-$24 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

This full-time position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. In addition, these positions are eligible for paid time off in the form of vacation, sick, holiday, jury duty and bereavement leave. JOB SUMMARY:

The Excel Center's Office Administrator is responsible for the organization and coordination of office operations, procedures and resources to facilitate organizational effectiveness and efficiency of The Excel Center. This position works closely with school staff and students to supervise and maintain orderly operations for the school. This position is the main point of contact upon entry into the school building and is the first point of contact for all visitors to The Excel Center. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, a professional attitude and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This role demonstrates behaviors consistent with our Mission, Vision, and Values, on behalf of Goodwill of Colorado. This is a full-time, year-round, in-person position at our school located in Aurora, CO. Applicants must reside in Colorado and work from the Aurora facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Ensure The Excel Center is properly staffed, equipped and well maintained.

* Ensure The Excel Center is a safe, secure and healthy environment for the staff and students.

* Ensure necessary documentation is on file for students and records are properly maintained.

* Greet visitors to The Excel Center, provide information to visitors and route visitors to the appropriate party.

* Answer incoming phone calls to The Excel Center and provide information about the school or direct phone calls to the appropriate party.

* Check voicemail and respond to messages in a timely manner.

* Manage departmental relationships to coordinate work orders in the areas of security, housekeeping, maintenance, and the childcare center.

* Management of bus pass ordering, distribution and record keeping

* Coordinate event planning to include vendor identification, evaluation, and selection.

* Collect and distribute mail.

* Order, maintain and track inventory of office equipment and office supplies.

* Create and maintain The Excel Center staff directory.

* Manage on-site enrollment for new students.

* Assist with new student orientation.

* Work closely with the registrar to assist with workflow.

* Act as a liaison between students, families, staff and community partners.

* Ensure the student information system is accurate and up to date.

* Assist with student and staff scheduling as needed.

* Coordinate and maintain a calendar for tours of The Excel Center for potential students, community members, current and potential partners.

* Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience

Associate degree with 3-5 years of office management experience or equivalent experience. A bachelor's degree or Certified Office Manager certificate is preferred. Bilingual Spanish language skills are strongly desired.
