Position Description

Provide administrative support to the Electric Operations. Deal with a diverse group of important callers and visitors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.

Position-Related Responsibilities

* Performs clerical functions including:

Prepares memos, reports, charts, spreadsheets, as well as other department forms and documents.

* Key daily timesheets for department.

* Maintaining schedules in ARCOS.

* Perform work in Maximo to include creating new jobs for trouble work, receive and input green tags from City, collect material lists and submit to engineering or issue to warehouse, enter information on jobs and close out jobs.

* Perform work in CC&B to include creating field activities, close field activities and assist New Services Rep and Customer Care Reps as needed.

* Daily user of AZ 811 to create initial blue stake tickets and update current blue stake tickets.

* May receive emergency blue stake and dispatch construction crews. May close out emergency blue stakes.

* Daily user of GIS to pull up easements and prepare all easement encroachments and do preliminary abandonment reviews.

* Work in Televent to move work orders through to completion.

* Photocopy and fax information and documents as needed or requested.

* Answers telephone, handles calls, routes to appropriate individual or takes messages. Ensures customers, vendors and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner.

* Compile list of office supplies to be ordered for departments.

* Assists department personnel with various special projects.

* This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Two years' previous administrative experience in a professional business environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Must have high level of interpersonal skills. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.

* Prioritize work with multiple interruptions.

* Possess functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products

* Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Starting pay rate: $25.81/hr

Pay Rate: 25.81
