The salary range for this position is $136,100 - $357,500. This position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan Application Window Open date: March 19, 2025 Most recent review date: Thursday, Apr 3, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Wednesday, Dec 31, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California, Davis, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is recruiting for an Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor in the clinician/teaching series to serve as teaching attendings in its county child and adolescent psychiatry clinic. The Sacramento County Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (CAPS) clinic is an academic and community mental health outpatient clinic serving Sacramento County and a diverse patient population. Our clinical staff consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, and trainees. We take a team-based approach to mental health treatment and work closely with the rest of the children's mental health system. This position will involve supervising child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, general psychiatry residents, and medical students. The incumbent will provide teaching and supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, participate in appropriate professional societies and educational organizations, provide service to department and school committees. This individual should also have ability to foster collegiality and work collaboratively in a diverse environment and adhere to University policies and procedures. The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences has approximately 65 residents in six residency training programs and 90 faculty and staff psychiatrists and psychologists at the UC Davis Medical Center and the Northern California VA Health System.
