POSITION SUMMARY The Director, Content Strategy will lead the development and execution of compelling content across all channels. This role will be instrumental in shaping the voice and tone of our brand, driving audience engagement, and achieving key business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Align content strategies with overall business goals, target audience needs, and market trends.
- Oversee the entire content lifecycle, from ideation and research to production, distribution, and analysis.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of content creators, editors, and marketers.
- Ensure timely and consistent content delivery across all channels.
- Gather data on audience preferences, behaviors, and pain points to inform content strategy and optimization.
- Monitor key metrics (e.g., website traffic, social media engagement, conversion rates) and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously research and explore new content formats, platforms, and technologies.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, product, and design teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand experiences.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and partners.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in content strategy, content marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading and managing high-performing content teams.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of "Create Once Publish Everywhere (COPE)" - digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media marketing, and content distribution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
- Experience with project management tools and content management systems.
- Portfolio of successful content marketing campaigns.
- Passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of brand voice and tone.
