POSITION SUMMARY: Sugarbush Resort is searching for a Maintenance & Custodian Technician to work at our Health & Recreation Center, known as the SHaRC. The Maintenance & Custodian Technician will perform building and grounds maintenance, as well as janitorial functions. This is a part time position working afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. RESPONSIBILITIES: Check building systems, maintain pools and tubs. Clean facility, including locker rooms, showers, steam room, and fitness room. Identify problems and solve them, for example keeping equipment in working order. Empty towel drops and stock fresh towels. Remove snow (winter). Mow and trim grass (summer). Maintain courts. QUALIFICATIONS: Prior building and grounds maintenance and/or housekeeping experience is desirable. Must be comfortable performing work inside and outside the SHaRC in all weather conditions. Must be comfortable around pools. Must be comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 80lbs), physical labor, and exposure to pool chemicals (safety equipment provided). Must be able to have pleasant and helpful interactions with guests of the SHaRC when required. Must be comfortable working a flexible schedule including weekends, early mornings, late evenings, and some holidays. Ability to handle multiple tasks.
