Description
Lipscomb seeks a lecturer who is qualified to teach a rotation of undergraduate philosophy courses and a rotation of graduate courses in applied artificial intelligence. The undergraduate courses will include, but are not limited to: introduction to philosophy, logic, modern philosophy, metaphysics, and applied ethics. The graduate courses in artificial intelligence would include, but not be limited to courses on ethics and the societal impact of artificial intelligence and courses facilitating student applications of artificial intelligence to a broad range of case studies.
A Ph.D in philosophy is preferred. The candidate will be expected to teach three undergraduate philosophy courses per semester and two graduate courses in applied artificial intelligence each semester. Education
