Production Coordinator

Production Coordinator | DuraMag | Waterville, ME

What you'll do:

As the Production Coordinator for Magnum and DuraMag (Shyft Group Brands) based in Waterville, ME, you support the production scheduling process by ensuring efficient material flow, on-time order completion, and alignment with production goals and customer deadlines.

In addition, you will be pivotal in fostering cross-functional coordination, monitoring progress, maintaining documentation and reporting, and overseeing inventory management.

Core Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling Support: Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules across all manufacturing lines.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with operations, engineering, and materials teams to manage demand forecasts and production plans.
• Progress Monitoring: Track production progress and communicate updates to relevant departments.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and distribute reports, schedules, and correspondence to keep production on track.
• Inventory Management: Oversee restocking orders for the Magnum stocking program based on min/max requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: High School diploma required; 2+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and stay on task
• Technical Skills: Proficient in computer applications and production scheduling tools
• Communication & Adaptability: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
