Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

As an Insurance Services Specialist, youll play a vital role in processing insurance claims, verifying patient coverage, and assisting with administrative tasks related to healthcare insurance. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Less than 1 year of experience required in:

Clerical/Administrative work (Required)
Healthcare Insurance (Required)
Customer Service (Preferred)
Epic EMR System experience (Preferred)

As the first point of access for Lee Health patients, this position completes and assists with Insurance Verification, authorizations, and financial screening to secure maximum reimbursement for the Lee Health System. It also requires excellent verbal, analytical and customer service skills due to the varying methods of continuous communication that occurs telephonically. Requires extensive computer knowledge and analytical experience to navigate and interpret the information provided by a multitude of entities. Requires prioritization, detail orientation, organized, flexible while working within high volume work queues. This job requires the ability to understand medical terminology pertinent to obtaining the authorizations needed for services.
