Summary: Linux Administrator L3

Lead Responsibilities: L3 Administrator role involves senior-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and expertise in Linux systems, including debugging complex issues, automating tasks, and managing infrastructure for production systems.

Job Responsibilities: Linux Operations Lead Engineer

  • Handle daily operations, troubleshooting, ticket handling. alert monitoring
  • License audit and license management.
  • SOX compliance audit and management.
  • Linux server installation, configuration.
  • Linux Administration and Troubleshooting.
  • Linux patching, upgrades.
  • File Servers (NFS, samba)
  • Should have worked on Redhat, SUSE and Ubuntu.
  • Experience on DNS, LDAP, LVM, FTP, SFTP, NFS
  • VMware & AWS cloud understanding and exposure.
  • Scripting/automation experience (Ansible/shell/python)
  • Experience on cloud and VMware architecture.
  • Hands on experience in datacenter management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex Linux environments.
  • Experience working with monitoring & ticketing tools, alert management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under high stress with consistency and accuracy
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse, globally disparate team
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing and speaking
  • Experience with wide variety of technology hardware, software and troubleshooting
  • Capable of multi-tasking and self-direction to meet goals
  • Solid quantitative skills and strong data analysis skills
  • Strong emphasis on quality and keen attention to detail required
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay Transparency
$ 87,750 - $ 128,700
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.

Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
