Our team in Corporate Group is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join them. You will report to the Financial Reporting Manager and will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY. In this role, you will assist with consolidating operating results for internal reporting purposes, preparing financial statements and related notes for SEC reporting, and administering the financial consolidation system.

To be considered for the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:

  • Typically, a bachelors degree in Accounting or related area; CPA preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting similar functions, with prior experience in public accounting and knowledge of SEC reporting being beneficial.
  • General knowledge of US GAAP and other relevant reporting requirements.
  • Mastery knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze data through advanced formulas and functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

As a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst, you will:

  • Ensure proper accounting by all sites in accordance with U.S. GAAP, internal consistency, and company policies.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounting across consolidated results.
  • Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including providing assistance and backup for cash flow reporting.
  • Prepare reporting book schedules and conduct ad hoc analysis.
  • Collaborate with operating groups and other corporate personnel on various financial reporting projects, including:
  • Integrate newly acquired entities.
  • Maintain the financial reporting guide.
  • Govern and maintain global chart of accounts.
  • Provide support and assistance for other accounting, financial, tax, and treasury functions.
  • Prepare various 8-K, 10-Q, and 10-K statements, footnotes, and supporting schedules.
  • Perform XBRL tagging.
  • Complete governmental surveys.
  • Develop audit schedules and conduct necessary analysis.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of software tools used within the department.
  • Identify system enhancements, train personnel, and document procedures.

Salary Range Transparency:

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
