*Description*
The OSP Aerial Foreman will be responsible for performing various types of work within the DMV footprint. This work will be supporting broadband initiatives across various clients not limited to Crown Castle, Verizon, State Department, etc. This work will include perform new builds and pole replacements for aerial fiber. They have a separate team that will perform splicing and node balancing, but if they have that experience then that is a huge plus. This will mainly consist of setting poles, transfers, over lashing, strand, and pulling fiber/mounting equipment. From time to time, there will be light manhole work. The foreman will be running a small crew of 3-4 and be the go-to for materials, high level plan, troubleshooting, and reading prints. Need to be open to getting hands dirty as well. The majority of their work is in Baltimore City, DC, PG County, Montgomery County, and Harford County. They will get a company vehicle that they will eventually get to take home. On a daily basis they will report to one of the locations that is closest to their home and sites (White Marsh or PG) to gather materials and then go to various commercial job sites to perform work. The end client that they will be supporting will be either Crown Castle or the major carriers. They have a team that focuses on fiber splicing, one that does that ground work (Digging with conduit), and one that connects RF. There is an on-call rotation that is not mandatory, but would like resources to be flexible to help out 1-2 times a month. *Skills* Fiber, OTDR, Power Meter, GIS, OSP Insight, Guey wire, Strand, Overlashing, coax, power *Top Skills Details* Fiber, OTDR, Power Meter, GIS, OSP Insight,Guey wire,Strand,Overlashing *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Reliable, and Flexible. Previous lineman experience is a plus! *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
