A healthcare provider based out of Utah is looking to hire fully remote Insurance Verification Reps to support the team! These positions are fully remote interested in talent with experience in the Healthcare setting supporting patients!
*Description* * The Patient Access Insurance Verification Representative's primary focus for this role is to mitigate the financial risks to our hospital clients. * To do this this position is responsible for contacting insurance companies and physician offices directly and/or using alternative means to verify insurance/coverage and clinical information needed to determine patient's eligibility, coverage, insurance limitations. * This position is also responsible for verifying insurance pre-authorization requirements and approval status. * The Patient Access Insurance Verification Representative will use analytical skills to make decisions and explain limitations so that physician offices and schedulers completely understand the status of each patient encounter. * Associates in this role are empowered to identify additional resources and refer patients who might have difficulty meeting their financial responsibilities. * Success in this role is measured with the use of weekly productivity and quality scorecards. *Skills & Qualifications* * Healthcare Experience * Patient Access Experience * Insurance Verification Experience *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
