Overview FamiliesFirst Network of Lakeview (FFN) provides foster care, adoption and child welfare services in Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties. The nonprofit's specialized team is passionate about helping abused and neglected children and their families. Position Summary The senior CWCM's primary duty is the performance of work requiring advanced knowledge in the field of social work or human behavioral studies, and to use such advanced knowledge and prior work experience to consistently exercise discretion and independent judgement in providing the most appropriate services and support to families (1) in the Dependency Court system who have been identified by the court as needing professional services to prevent future abuse and/or neglect of children, and (2) who voluntarily request similar, but non-judicial in-home services. Responsible for taking actions appropriate to ensure that every child has a permanent home that provides physical and emotional safety. Examples of professional work experience could be, although not limited to: Guardian Ad Litem or similar child advocate role Other professional jobs that require an assessment of factors that can contribute to trauma or protective capacities with children and families. * Bachelor's degree is preferred.
