Job Summary |
Performs a variety of routine office support duties within the School of Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Science (
SFAAS). |
Essential Functions |
- Serve as a point of contact for the school.
- Greets undergraduate and graduate student learners, and School visitors in person or via telephone.
- Assists Director, faculty and students of SFAAS on as-needed basis.
- Monitor work orders and general maintenance needs as they arise.
- Provides administrative assistance to include travel vouchers, purchasing card reconciliation, vendor vouchers, and associated documents. Will also provide administrative support for Finance, HR, and Admin staff as needed and requested.
- Support faculty and staff, and especially students with travel arrangements and reimbursement, book travel arrangements (e.g., hotels, flights, busses) for trips.
- Assists Director with internal and external communications, including blogs, newletters, website content creation and social media.
- Follow-up with students' inquiries, communicate policy and procedures with students.

Minimum Qualifications |
- Experience working and interacting with students.
- Knowledge of customer service and office related duties.

Desired Qualifications |
Experience with Self Service Banner/AU Access, Kronos, Word, Excel, Outlook, Wordpress, Social Media, Website Maintenance, PowerPoint, PeopleAdmin and with AU policies and procedures are desired. |
