Job Summary
The Office of Information Technology ( OIT) has an exciting opportunity for an entry level Administrative Associate to join the team! This position is a key liaison for OIT; answering the University Switchboard, assisting visitors, conference room oversight, facilitating logistics, and support various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Functions


  • Front Desk and Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the CIO and OIT, engaging with departments, parents, clients, students, and visitors. Foster a positive work environment and boost staff morale.

  • Switchboard Operation: Operate the University Switchboard, answer calls, provide information, screen and forward calls, and assist callers using online resources.

  • Visitor Assistance: Provide courteous service and accurate information, connect visitors with appropriate OIT staff, and refer IT support issues to the IT Service desk.

  • Logistics: Handle mail, parcel, and freight shipments, and assist with moving logistics.

  • OIT Conference Room oversight: Responsible for scheduling, communication, set-up and assistance with AV equipment for OIT Conference room 103.

  • Facility Coordination: Coordinate cleaning services, manage copier/printer issues, submit and follow-up on work orders and ensure vehicle maintenance.

  • Administrative duties: Assist with scheduling of interviews, data entry, and other administrative duties as assigned.

  • Professional Growth: Participates in job-specific training to enhance personal & professional growth, policy knowledge, and overall career development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years experience in clerical and administrative support services.



Substitutions allowed for Experience
: When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience.
Must be able to move around tables and chairs, lift up to 50 lbs and sit/move around on the floor to plug/unplug multiple tables.
