Job Summary
This role will help to enhance the benefits experience for employees and internal cross-functional teams (our customers) and to ensure smooth day-to-day benefit operations. The Benefits Coordinator will assist with benefits administration, data audits, manage employee and HR inquiries, and work collaboratively with HRIS and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee leave administration and escalations: Working with our leave administrator, including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other applicable leave programs.

  • Ensure clear employee communications: Regularly review and update resources on ZOLLbenefits.com, ensuring content remains current and engaging and provides easy access to key resources.

  • Support and collaborate with HR Teams: Serve as the primary point of contact for divisional HR teams on all benefits-related matters, ensuring consistency in procedures, documentation, and approvals.

  • Maintain regulatory compliance: Stay informed on federal, state, and local laws to ensure benefit programs and practices remain compliant.

  • Optimize team coordination: Schedule meetings with vendors, align team availability, and facilitate smooth ongoing collaboration.

  • Drive process improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance benefits and leave management processes, streamline workflows, and improve overall efficiency.

  • Oversee monthly financial processes: Manage monthly invoicing processes and HSA and FSA funding and reconciliation.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience with HR management systems, preferably Workday

  • Strong Microsoft applications skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Excel knowledge requires strong mastery of formulas and data sources
