Vaco is hiring for an Accounting Consultant opportunity in Akron OH. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant with a strong background in Oracle Fusion ERP, cash management, reconciliations, and financial analysis to support our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing multi-entity financials, closing month-end processes, and optimizing cash flow across multiple locations. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and improving operational efficiency for a client with 18 stores and 8 separate bank accounts. Key Responsibilities: Cash Management & Reconciliations Manage and reconcile transactions across 8 separate bank accounts. Monitor daily cash flows and ensure proper allocation across 18 store locations. Investigate and resolve any cash discrepancies. Financial Analysis & Reporting Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Provide insights on cash flow, revenue performance, and expense management. Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes. Month-End Close & Accounting Operations Lead and execute the month-end close process within Oracle Fusion ERP. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP standards. Process Optimization & Compliance Identify and implement best practices to streamline reconciliation and close processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls. Provide recommendations for improving accounting workflows in Oracle Fusion. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco notes the salary range for the role as follows: 30-50.00/hr.The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
