Senior Accounts Receivable Manager
Direct Hire | Hybrid (4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote) | Jacksonville, FL

Vaco is hiring a Senior Accounts Receivable Manager for a direct-hire opportunity in Jacksonville, FL. This hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) leads a team handling B2B billing, cash applications, credit, and collections. The Senior AR Manager will establish policies, implement best practices, and ensure timely billing and collections while mitigating risk.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the AR team, prioritizing activities to improve KPIs and SLAs

  • Provide weekly and monthly AR metrics and dispute summaries to management

  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end AR closing, ensuring SOX compliance and audit completion

  • Manage system enhancements, integrations, and transitions to Shared Services and 3rd parties

  • Analyze customer deductions, including shortages, pricing differences, and contractual allowances

  • Partner with Sales, Credit, and Legal to mitigate credit risks and resolve disputes

  • Ensure process documentation is maintained, updated, and approved as needed

  • Build relationships with key customers and internal teams for issue resolution

  • Hire, mentor, and develop team members to create a high-energy, results-driven culture

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 6+ years of invoice-to-cash experience in a large organization

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Accounting, Finance, or Shared Services

  • Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, or D365 preferred)

  • Advanced Excel skills (LOOKUP, PivotTables)

  • Ability to analyze data, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and decision-making skills with persistence in issue resolution

  • Hybrid role: Monday-Thursday onsite, Friday remote

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco notes the salary range for the role as follows: $96000-$140000 . The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
