POSITION SUMMARY:

Clay Brook is hiring for a Full-time Year-round Lead Housekeeper. The Lead Housekeeper will have quality experience to oversee housekeepers, custodians and assist with training and inspection of the work of Clay Brook Housekeepers, providing housekeeping services and clean units in Clay Brook.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as Captain of a team of housekeepers.
  • Provide training for Clay Brook housekeepers.
  • Assist with the Inspection of units as they are cleaned and random quality checks.
  • Assist with the secure of units not cleaned on day of departure, as needed.
  • Create daily assignments, update SMS, and oversee daily workload for staff in the absence of the Clay Brook Supervisor.
  • Clean rooms and other facilities as needed in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Assist with oversight of daily Custodial functions.
  • Assist with tracking processes.
  • Help other resort facilities on the mountain as requested.
  • Provide feedback to housekeepers on cleaning behavior/performance.
  • Provide assistance with inventory maintenance in units.
  • Become active member of the Bloodborne Pathogen Responder team.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age with a minimum of a high school diploma, or, equivalent.
  • At least 1-year prior experience required.
  • Must be able to work as a team member, as well as work under own supervision.
  • A valid Driver's License is required, including proof of automobile liability insurance and an acceptable driving record.
  • Must pass background check and be able to obtain a Sugarbush license, subject to DMV check.
  • Conscientious, detail oriented and fiscally responsible.
  • Computer literacy desired.
