As a dedicated IT Specialist, you will ensure the maximum value of technology investments. You will advocate for and promote the effective use of technology within your territory, integrating new and existing technologies into practices and workflows. This role requires building trusting relationships with end-users, leveraging sound judgment and decision-making, and prioritizing engagements with leadership and stakeholder groups. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal technology configuration and driving technical product adoption by becoming a trusted advisor to leaders and end-users, ultimately championing their goals and fostering their success. This position sits onsite in Middleton, WI. *Primary Duties & Responsibilities:* * Leverage sound judgment and decision-making to advance technology transformation priorities. * Use knowledge of computers, mobile devices, hardware, software configurations, operating systems, and LAN to resolve technical issues and provide implementation support. * Provide technical support in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while multitasking and reprioritizing efforts as needed. * Learn and apply customer and engineering best practices to support software/hardware solutions to drive high availability to meet/exceed expectations. * Establish, build, and maintain relationships with key roles including team members and leadership to understand their individual business needs. * Proactively engage with leadership, team members, and their teams to ensure effective and efficient use of the technology suite to maximize value. * Tailor consultative approach to demonstrate and understand the specific benefits for each unique audience using the technology. * Act as a feedback loop to corporate leadership to ensure tech applications meet the needs of end-users. * Identify gaps and inefficiencies where new or existing technology can improve practices. * Articulate the benefits of leveraging technology to drive a positive experience throughout the sales cycle. * Consult with training leadership teams on teaching and reinforcing technology use best practices throughout the sales cycle with new and existing team members. * Partner with leadership to ensure consistent messaging in promoting the proper use and integration of technology. * Plan, schedule, and facilitate classes using established curriculum to leverage technology as a productivity tool. * Consult with and partner with training teams in leading sessions to promote and deliver usage strategies on key technologies needed for successful onboarding and development. * Support technology rollouts by making users aware of benefits, preparation, and training needed for successful deployment1. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or significant equivalent experience. * Minimum of 2 years of relevant technology support experience. * Advanced knowledge in computer, mobile device hardware, and software troubleshooting including proficiency in using software support tools. * Demonstrates strong customer service skills and excellent oral and written communication ability. * Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities including sound judgment/decision-making skills. * High degree of initiative and motivation including willingness to seize opportunities to identify, help drive and implement process/service improvement and innovation. * Strong attention to detail including proficiency in clear and understandable ticket documentation. * Ability to diffuse/resolve escalations and resolve complex issues *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
