*Description*
Currently seeking a UC/Network Engineer to support both Network and IT Telecommunications Department. They are looking for a Network UC engineers with mixed experience of Cisco UC and networking experience. This engineer will work on a team of 16 and partner with department managers and end users to understand business needs, gather requirements, and develop solutions to deliver the desired call center experience. Work with technical teams and business leaders to design, develop, and maintain IVR's and call flow routing for DTMF and advanced speech applications. Lead implementation of API/ Web Service integrations to back end systems. Working knowledge of QM recording, Outbound dialing campaigns. WFM, Omni-Channel Analytics, Customer Journeys, and Reporting. Support and maintain existing Telephony and Contact Center solutions and demonstrate complex problem-solving skills. These candidates will perform systems tuning to optimize performance of IPT systems and reduce communication costs and analyzes IPT systems and performance data for purposes of capacity analysis and management. The candidate would need to take responsibility for solution development and integration with other specialized disciplines: network security, wireless network, and IP telephony, call center, etc. These candidates are coming on board of a team of 16 UC engineers and will be involved with the Migration of 4500 end users to the Cloud for the call center. They should all be experienced in Cloud enablement of contact center solutions Minimum of 4 years of deep knowledge of IVR Applications and Advanced Speech Recognition engines (ASRs), and hands on development and deployment experience including monitoring, continuous testing, test validation. The skill set is below that they will need for this position. These are engineers in the UC and network space not techs. - 2+ years of writing code in common programming languages such as VXML, Java, .Net, J2EE. JSP and Database technologies in support of enterprise call center applications - Experience integrating Genesys-Pure-Cloud with different CRM Applications - Experience working with TUI Designs (Telephony User Interface designs) - Minimum 2 years of experience with Genesys-Pure-Cloud development, hands on implementation, Configuration, deployments to production and support. - Candidate should have strong experience in Genesys solutions and its products & technology - Experience implementing Conversational Al, Chatbots, Virtual Assistant leveraging Al/ML - Candidate is expected to work with their internal telecom & infrastructure groups to support Pure-cloud implementations - AWS knowledge is also preferred - Knowledge of Agile with SAFe - Experience involving digital transformation activities in large organization is a plus. - Manage multiple network infrastructure projects and operational tasks concurrently. - Configure and maintain LAN, voice and data networks. - Install, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches. - Install and maintain CUCM, CUC and UCCX. - Configure and maintain standard QoS templates across all network devices. - Provide second support to network operations and service desk teams. - Configure and maintain standard QoS templates across all network devices. - Supports and maintains production applications. - Processes requests from internal ticketing systems. - Performs analysis of network needs and contributes to design of network architecture, integration, and installation. - Installs and maintains local and wide area network hardware and software, network nodes, terminals and wiring. - Evaluates local area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities and makes recommendations. - Monitors and maintains network stability and makes necessary recommendations for additional resources or hardware augmentations. - Communicates and coordinates network schedule, backups and downtime to users. - Experience with cloud automation, cloud design patterns and microservices is a plus. - Ability to work independently on routine duties and take initiative in learning and understanding new product systems and features *Additional Skills & Qualifications* These candidates will also be an accountable for technical aspects of the platform, supporting complex solutions and ensuring solutions will fit within the network architecture. Keep abreast with advanced Unified Communication technology used by the industry. Assume responsibility for technical studies and make recommendations for products and services covering overall UC platform. Candidate is expected to liaise with Business Stake holders as well as users & other call center groups for Pure-cloud implementation and support Excellent verbal, written, and technical documentation skills. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
