Summary
Enterprise Data Architect We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to drive our enterprise data strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation initiatives. This role is critical for maintaining data governance, architecture standards, and strategic programs, including Analytics and Insights Modernization and AI/ML initiatives. What your day would be like: You are responsible for:
- Lead the overall direction of the organization's information technology architecture to support business goals.
- Develop and implement enterprise data strategies, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
- Assess current systems, document findings, and recommend improvements for IT solutions and services.
- Enforce data architecture standards and best practices to optimize data management.
- Drive key strategic programs, including data governance initiatives, analytics modernization, and AI/ML advancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into business operations.

Minimum Requirements
Enterprise Data Architect
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- PLUS ten (10+) years in data architecture and management, including data modeling, data governance, and data integration.
- Strong experience with cloud-based data platforms (OCI preferred, Azure, AWS).
- Proven ability to establish enterprise data strategies, frameworks, and governance models.
Major Accountabilities
- Performs the most complex duties of the technical architecture positions and is thought of as an expert in solving architecture issues within and outside the organization
- Leads the creation of EA governing principles
- Define and lead the enterprise data architecture strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enforce enterprise-wide data standards, including data modeling, data integration, metadata management, and master data management (MDM).
- Lead data governance initiatives in partnership with Data Governance teams, ensuring data quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Provide architectural oversight for the Enterprise Data Platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to design and implement data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and advanced analytics solutions.
- Ensure alignment of data architectures with non-functional requirements such as security, privacy, data lineage, and disaster recovery.
- Promote innovation by identifying opportunities for advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI capabilities within the data architecture.
- Manage large, complex project initiatives of strategic importance to the organization, involving large cross-divisional teams
- Participates in industry/knowledge reference groups
