About the role

This position, working under the direction of the Area Finance Lead will be responsible for coordinating/managing the monthly and full-year forecast and planning functions. This position will manage and oversee the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and long term plans as well as preparing financial presentations and performing capital expenditure analysis.

This position supports the Facilities, driving FP&A and the management reporting process for all facilities under its responsibility: annual budget plan, forecasting, outlooks (weekly pulse, financial estimates), Long Term Maintenance Plan (LTMP). This position will have extended responsibility to oversee monthly reporting activities performed under US generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP), internal policies, SOX and procedures.

The Sr Financial Analyst will be an integral team member of Reworld's South RegionFinance team and will understand and regularly update financial models while providing leadership with in-depth analysis as well as ad hoc projects as required.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with the facility/area management in achieving business objectives including financial, operational, and commercial
  • Interact with internal and external auditors to deliver all documentation required for internal and external audits
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on area performance against budget and prior year
  • Develop, update, and present management reporting, actuals vs forecast analytics, capex, cash flow, etc.
  • Develop new analytical views to assist in analyzing financial performance, KPIs, etc.
  • Partner with facility managers in forecasting and analyzing area department overhead costs
  • Ensure that supporting data and analysis is relevant and accurate
  • Deliver expense analytics to support cost management allocation, expense reduction and support to improve budget and forecast accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel skills, ability to build ad hoc reports, data analytics, etc.
  • Prepare regional and facility FP&A calendar and support to coordinate FP&A activities at facility level to ensure planning timelines are delivered
  • Provide analytics and business recommendations to operations (facility managers/area managers)
  • Full P&L responsibilities including Sales, Overhead, Variable Costs, etc.
  • Headcount tracking and forecasting
  • Up to 25% travel

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. MBA/MACC preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5+ years ofrelevantexperience
  • Strong computer/ financial modeling skills
  • Analytical skills including product line profitability
  • NetSuite or similar ERP experience. Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Oracle/Smart View/Analysis for Office is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with attention to detail and accuracy
