We are searching for a talented Rehab Intern

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Day shift with weekend and holiday rotation; shift varies

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Team Leader, Rehabilitation Services or Designee perform various duties including but not limited to assist therapists and/or assistants with patient care, review and audit technical charts, research new product information, etc. Responsible for keeping medical records accurate and up to date. Maintain equipment and facility in proper order and in a safe manner according to established policies and procedures. Provide professional support as required per assigned primary therapist.


Qualifications

  • High School required. Must be currently student attending an accredited college or university and attending final year as a student that leads to a degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Audiology or Athletic Training.
  • Must demonstrate strong customer service skills and computer skills.
  • Up to and including three months experience.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

  • Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
