Utility Worker One (Deer Valley Garage)

The Transportation Maintenance Teamhas an immediate opening for a Utility Worker One at ourDeer Valley Garage.

The work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2:00pm

The Job Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

• General Shop Cleanup
• Parts Delivery and pickup
• Assist Mechanics as needed
• Shuttle Vehicles to various locations
• Tire repair and service (Upon Certification)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School diploma or GED
• Valid Manual Transmission Commercial Driver's License (Class "A")
• No mechanical restrictions and ability to meet all DOT requirements
• Pass EEI CAST Test
• Must live a reasonable distance (one (1) hour)from headquarters

Additional Requirements:

• Must be physically able to handle heavy outdoor work in extreme summer conditions
• Must be capable of operating all types of equipment and vehicles
• Be able to work under minimal supervision
• Handling and maneuvering of wheel rim assemblies weighing in excess of 120lbs may be required
• Interview may be conducted
• This position requires working with aerial equipment, which has weight restrictions of 300 lbs or less
• The established headquarters for this position is subject to relocation to the Hub West Service Center, a facility that will be located 38 miles west of downtown Phoenix, on a date to be determined by the company.
