Proven experience as a sample maker or in a similar role in the fashion industry. Strong sewing and garment construction skills, with proficiency in various sewing techniques. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines. Product Sample Maker Job Summary Responsible for constructing high-quality samples of garments based on design specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong sewing skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with product design and product development teams. Key Responsibilities Create prototypes and samples of garments, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards. Collaborate with designers to understand their vision and translate it into physical samples. Cut all pattern pieces and components from various fabrics and trims. After fittings make adjustments to samples for proper fit and construction. Maintain an organized workspace and keep track of materials and samples. Assist in developing new techniques and processes to improve sample development and suggest production efficiencies. Communicate effectively with the design and production teams regarding timelines and project updates.
