Regional Sales Manager - West Bend Office

Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize business opportunities through independent insurance agencies within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include supporting and monitoring sales efforts, creating specific goals for each agency, and analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities. The position requires generating new business by prospecting and appointing new agencies, cultivating strong relationships with agents, and collaborating with underwriting teams to support decisions.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Candidates who are located within 50 miles of the West Bend, WI office location will work a hybrid schedule (3 Days/week in office) for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events.

Develop and promote the sale of West Bend's product lines through independent insurance agencies in an assigned territory.
• Develop, support, monitor, and measure specific goals for each agency that align with corporate profit and growth objectives.
• Responsible for timely follow-up with agents, as well as communication of company strategies and key changes.
• Promote and train agencies on West Bend portals and software applications.
• Develop training and sales programs, promotions, and events utilizing teleconferences, webinars, and social media.
• When applicable, negotiate new and renewal business directly with agent and underwriter.
• Conduct agency performance evaluations and monitor Partners in Excellence Program.
• Terminate unprofitable or low volume agencies as needed.
• Monitor and report on agency and industry trends.
• Also responsible for assisting in sales projects as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• 2 years of sales or marketing experience preferred
• 2 years commercial multi-line underwriting experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Education and Training

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, insurance or related field
• Completion of Program in General Insurance
• AINS, AU, CIC, or CPCU designation
• Valid agents license
