You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to assess the clinical needs of patients in crisis where you begin their treatment and care in the emergency department. You will also work collaboratively with community partners to facilitate ED-to-inpatient and ED-to-ambulatory clinic care transitions. You will help deliver effective, compassionate care with an eye toward referrals to the least restrictive setting in the context of an interdisciplinary team consisting of: * Crisis Clinicians * Social Works * Emergency Medicine Providers * Additional appropriate staff Schedule expectations include 1 weekend per month and a combination of day shifts and early evening (typically until 8 pm). This role is physically located at Mercy Hospital and Mercy Hospital - Unity Campus with additional telehealth support for all regional sites as capacity allows. Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities Charts in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope. Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management. May participate in on-call rotation Develops behaviorally-focused, outcomes-based treatment plans of care that address mental health, functional impairment, and co-occurring addictive or medical disorders Works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Provides full mental health care planning including medication recommendations and prescriptions May participate in peer review and quality assurance Required Qualifications Master's degree Completion of accredited PMNHP - Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program Post Nurse Practitioner training is strongly preferred Licenses/Certifications Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty required upon hire ACLS-BLS Tier 2 - Multisource required within 180 Days Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire Physical Demands Medium Work: Lifting weight Up to 32 lbs. occasionally (Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), Up to 25 lbs. frequently Pay Range Pay Range: $139,500 to $167,000 per year The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
