Ability to operate autonomously and communicate actively *Description* Our client is looking for a SecOps Engineer for a 100% remote contract. Designing, implementing, and securing solutions for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technology including AWS, Azure, and GCP resources. Automating enforcement of Cloud compliance policies. Developing policy and documentation for security best practices for technologies new to the company. Identifying, investigating, and responding to cyber threats, incidents, and anomalies. Identifying and prioritizing security vulnerabilities in our environment and helping to drive remediation. Making recommendations for necessary changes to our security controls to address emerging security threats. Designing, implementing, and securing solutions for end-to-end security in a CI/CD pipeline for containers including Docker, Artifactory, CloudBees Jenkins, and Kubernetes. In addition to maintaining to the security of our Cloud-based platforms, this role will be focused on contributing to the team's larger cybersecurity efforts. ISP Peering multi-homed Public ASN via BGP. COS/QOS for VoIP, traffic prioritization and traffic shaping. High Availability designs using redundancy and diversity. IAM Administrator Prisma Cloud Security & alert remediation Endpoint virus and threat remediation Website vulnerability scans Penetration testing *Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. CISA, CISM or CISSP Certification a plus. 5+ years' experience working as a security professional Ability to apply a risk management lens to complicated technical issues and make recommendations about how to reduce risk. Understanding of a broad range of security technologies and how they work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills. Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment. Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality. Willingness and ability to work flexible hours. Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams) *Preferred:* AWS, Azure or GCP services and/or an understanding of how Cloud infrastructure works. IP Planning and VLAN design for data centers using private cloud technologies NAT/PAT in routers and firewalls Experience working with Telcos and backbone ISPs to troubleshoot, install, and configure. CISCO, F5, Palo Alto Networks, Websense Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. Functional knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, etc.). PaaS platforms such as Salesforce or Heroku. Investigating cyber incidents. Threat intelligence and risk assessment. Container security platforms such as Aqua, Twistlock, Sysdig, etc. Secrets Management tools such as HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, AWS Secrets Manager, etc. DevOps engineering (Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, etc.). *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $59.00 - $60.00/hr.
