Job Overview

The role of the Warehouse Associate IV - Receiving Clerk is responsible for the receipt of inbound deliveries (direct and indirect purchases) entering the facility. The receiving clerk will perform visual inspection on inbound shipments and validate if shipments have hidden damage / shortage / overage and resolve the inbound deliveries by utilizing the Discrepancy Log process.

A Day In The Life

  • Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to ensure a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety and security of all employees.
  • Physical and system receiving inbound deliveries by physically counting and reconciling on packing slip all product on the inbound delivery.
  • Assist inbound team with system movement to and from non-standard locations (Hfloor, 3000 Management, etc.)
  • Notify buyer of any hidden shortage / overage within 48 hours of receipt. Provide proof to buyer, systemically transfer material if needed, and complete discrepancy log for lead clerk to perform.
  • Identify all shipments which do not conform to standard storage and marking information and correct.
  • Perform inventory adjustments to correct inbound delivery issues as permitted by company inventory adjustment procedure.
  • Complete Indirect material receipts as required
  • Monitor and respond to email and phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by your manager to efficiently support the warehouse operation.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Five (3) years' experience in a high-volume warehouse environment required.
  • Three (1) year experience in Associate II role
  • Working knowledge of SAP (ECC & EWM).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to perform work for a maximum of nine hours per day.

  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating in projects as needed.
