Position Title: Tasker
Wage: $23.50/hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 10pm-6am QPS Employment Group is hiring a Tasker for a company in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Join a company that provides integrated frozen and refrigerated logistics and distribution services for the food industry. This is an associate to hire role. Tasker Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assign inbound/outbound delivery appointments to on-shift forklift operators - Utilize WMS systems to allocate loads and manage warehouse inventory - Manage paperwork flow between shipping and receiving - Assist with check-in drivers and direct them to a door for unloading/loading - Assist with removing/placing/verifying seals on trailer doors as needed - Accurately process paperwork in the computer system - Ensure proper E-filing - Regular punctual attendance - Knowledge of and adherence to all personal safety, food safety and food defense training and policies - Ensure that all MRS policies and procedures are followed - Fair and equal professional treatment of all employees - Resolve carrier and driver issues - Multi-task and communicate effectively - Office sanitation and organization - Perform regular warehouse duties and other duties as assigned by management Tasker Requirements: - Ability to work in a range of temperatures - Ability to read/write in English - Basic math/computer skills - Ability to follow and give instructions effectively - Ability to function and lead effectively in a team and fast paced environment - Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management - Strong phone skills/etiquette QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
