Oncology Chemo Certified

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients within the oncology unit. This role requires a strong background in medical oncology and proficiency in administering and monitoring chemotherapy treatments.

• Provide care for a patient mix including med/surg oncology, telemetry with intermediate care, hematology/oncology, and chemotherapy.
• Perform autologous bone marrow transplants and CAR-t (Stem cell) overflow procedures.
• Conduct bone marrow biopsies and manage new leukemia inductions and multiple transfusions.
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy, access and care for ports, and manage PCA.
• Float within skillset when not needed on the home unit.

• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in medical oncology and chemotherapy administration.
• ACLS, BLS, and CHEMO certifications are mandatory.
• First-time travelers and local applicants are accepted.
• Ability to work every other holiday and weekend as required.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the offer.
• No block scheduling or accommodations will be granted.

The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, with the possibility of 1:5 if floated. Candidates should be prepared to work with patients diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
