Job Description

SCHEDULE:

This is a 1st shift position, 6:30am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

RESPONSIBLITIES and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This position will handle a multitude of electronic assemblies, tolerance testing, printed circuit boards (PCBs) preparation, engage reels and feeders for assembly, and other varying responsibilities. This position is in a plant setting with a clean and controlled climate.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 18 years of age

  • High School Diploma or GED OR 1 year of related work experience

  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening

  • 1 year of related experience in electronic or mechanical field required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Basic Computer Literacy

  • Basic Reading and Writing
