*Description*
Will be working at the Lansing location, and going on site at hospitals and assisted living facilities (ONCE DIRECT) to set up and explain/troubleshoot equipment. They will be driving a company car, and not driving more than 1-2 hours on travel days. The travel will depend on how much/when equipment is ordered from the hospital, depends on the needs of the patients, they could have a whole week where they go without going on location or will be going to multiple locations in one day. - Mon-Fri 8am-5pm w/ 1 hour lunch - Training: Hands on training with management, should be about a month until they are completely on their own. Will need to learn medical equipment, as well as their computer system. - While on contract, the employee will not be leaving the Lansing location but will be trained during their contract period to eventually enter homes and assist the RT with equipment setup and instructions for the patients. Job Description: - Working with Respiratory Department Staff and Program Managers to provide instruction, service, and troubleshooting techniques for respiratory equipment to patients. - Educate and teach patients and caregivers how to use and care for respiratory equipment - Setting up equipment, explaining equipment to patients, explaining financial responsibilities to patients. - Complete all company, insurance and/or government provided paperwork timely and entirely. Such as Delivery tickets, safety checklist forms, patient booklet receipts, equipment specific instruction/cleaning forms, etc. - Equipment are CPAP, BiPAP, Oxygen, Nebulizers, etc. *Will double as a CSR at store location when not on location with patients* - Customer Service Specialists are responsible for learning and understanding the entire front-end process to ensure successful service for our patients - Answering inbound calls and making outbound calls, email - May be responsible for obtaining, analyze, and verify the accuracy of information received from referrals, create orders, and or schedule the patient to receive equipment as ordered by their doctor - Answer all calls and emails in a timely manner, in adherence to their goals - Process orders, route calls to the appropriate resources, and follow up on customer calls where necessary ON-CALL ONCE GONE DIRECT-THIS IS NOT A MUST. There is potential this could happen, but is not actively a part of the role at this time: They have a rotation sign up sheet where employees from all locations give their availability or unavailability for the coming month. They will be able to work remote during their on-call days.
