There's currently a Desktop Support Analyst opportunity with our client in Brooklyn Park/Coon Rapids, MN. This is targeted to be a 6 month contract with potential of extension/conversion. Looking for someone to provide Tier 1 thru Tier 2 support for PC (hardware and operating system) users. This position provides regular and as-needed technical services to internal customers and is the primary means of interaction between users and the IT department. Top Skills Details 1.Setup and configure users AD accounts and Exchange. 2.Image and configure PC's and laptops 3.Image and configure thin clients 4.Software installs and troubleshooting Description Essential Job Functions * Triage user issues and requests. * Respond to help desk tickets, telephone calls, email, and walk-up requests for support * Manage the tickets in the Help Desk ticketing system * Identify, research, and resolve IT problems * Troubleshoot and maintain computer systems connected to production equipment * Configure and deploy user hardware * Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements * Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work * Participate in required company meetings * Maintain an organized work area (5S) * Participate in the Operational Excellence Program * Complete all other work duties as assigned * Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum Requirements, Education & Experience * Associate degree in an IT--related field or relevant work experience. * Experience in support a technical environment in a help desk capacity * Microsoft Office awareness (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills * Attention to detail * Organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment * Ability to prioritize and multitask * Ability to lift 50 lbs. Desirable Criteria & Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related IT field * Experience with ERP, CRM, and other Business Systems * Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
